RULES & REGULATIONS
Door cars and left handed steer, full fender roadsters
Any motor and any fuel
NOS may be used but no NOS timer controllers are allowed
No throttle stops or like devices allowed (Air or Electric) (They must be disconnected at the stop before qualifying and racing begins)
The use of any ignition system or related accessory that uses a multi-point rev limiter or rate of acceleration limiter is prohibited from use
Each car must have IHRA or NHRA chassis certification and
meet their general regulations
Drivers must be licensed for at least 5.80 E.T. or faster by IHRA or NHRA
Race will be run on a .4 pro tree
Courtesy staging and auto start will be on
If a car turns on both lights (pre-stage & stage) the other car has the option to stage or make the other car back out and re-stage
If both cars are staged and ready to race and either car rolls out of the beams, forwards or backwards, that car will be disqualified
Each racer will get 2 qualifying runs but only at the time qualifying is run (once qualifying has begun you will not be allowed any more open trials)
If on your qualifying runs you go faster than the 5.80 index it will count but you will be moved to the bottom of the ladder.
Points will be awarded at each race and a points champion will be crowned, at the end of the year (10 points for show up if you qualify & 10 points for each round won, 5 bonus points for winner and 5 bonus points for number 1 qualifier)
Entry fee will be $100.00 for Car, Driver & One pit crew member(If you don’t qualify you will receive a $50.00 refund, if entered in points)
The field of car’s will be 8,16, 24, 32 etc.(If we have a field of cars below 16 car, the payout will be adjusted)
You must run at least 6.10 or faster to qualify
Racer closets to 5.80 will have lane choice each round (If there is an odd number of cars below the 16 cars, the closest to 5.80 will have the 1st round bye)
Fifty dollars membership.
Must be a member to be entered in points at the first of the year.
Points to be counted at all races. Only points for 12 races will count (your choice)
